Is it really, really hard to cancel my free trial?

Absolutely not! BeenVerified prides itself on making the cancellation process as easy as possible. To EZ Cancel, simply call 1-888-579-5910 and just let our friendly support team know that you wish to cancel your trial. We're available anytime from 8AM to 9PM EST (Mon.- Fri.) and 12PM - 8PM EST (Weekends).

What comes with the free trial?

For a limited time we are offering all new trial customers the ability to run unlimited, full access to all searches we offer. That means unlimited background checks, reverse phone searches, criminal records, property reports, email searches and more! Try them out for yourself to see how easy it is to search.

What is the refund policy?

We allow customers a 7 day grace period after being billed to receive a refund if they do not wish to continue their BeenVerified membership. Please note this grace period only applies to customers that have not used the service during those 7 days. If you use the service after your free trial expires, we will be unable to issue you a refund.

Can I use BeenVerified to conduct Employment Background Checks or FCRA Related Background Checks?

Sorry, but absolutely not. BeenVerified is not a consumer reporting agency as defined in the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"), and the information contained within our website has not been collected in whole or in part for the purpose of furnishing consumer reports, as defined in the FCRA. You may not use any of our information as a factor in establishing an individual's eligibility for personal credit, insurance or assessing risks associated with existing consumer credit obligations. You also may not use any of our data or results for other business transactions with another individual including, but not limited to, leasing an apartment. How do I remove my data from BeenVerified?

Please send an email to and supply the following information.

  • Your name as shown on our site
  • Your Age
  • Current address (City, State, Zip)
  • Previous addresses
  • Listed Relatives

Please note that we cannot guarantee like or similar records from reappearing in the future. Public records come from multiple sources and are constantly being updated and there is no one universal system for identifying individuals that can provide a total opt out. If a like or similar record appears in the future, please feel free to simply email us and we will remove that as well.

I've found some information I'd like to correct, what should I do?

Sometimes dealing with government courts is not the easiest process and while we put 110% effort into making our data as accurate as possible, we are sometimes limited to the data given to us directly from the court system. If you found an error, feel free to let us know from within your account and we will forward it to our data team.
