Last month, we had the honor of serving dinner to over 400 people in need at the Miami Rescue Mission. We chose this location in the Wynwood area of Miami that has been serving the homeless and needy in the area since 1922 in part so we could make an impact together as a large group.
The organization provides a Center for Men, Center for Women and Children, an Education Center, a Community Activity Center with afterschool and summer programs, a Food Warehouse, a Health Clinic, and Thrift Stores. The Centers offer emergency and residential programs, providing 390 beds for residential and emergency services.
We had 24 of our very caring and hardworking team members at BeenVerified in participation – Carla, our Director of Customer Service; Michelle, our Miami Call Center Supervisor; Roy, our Operations Manager; Mike, our Site Director and Kyla, our Director of Client Services; as well as our entire customer service quality assurance team, and 21 of our call center team members.
From the moment they put on their aprons and hairnets, every team member jumped in to help with any task: serving food and drinks, clearing tables, washing dishes, packing meals for people on the street, and handing out freshly baked desserts. Our team found themselves drawing on their customer service skills, listening to the people they served, engaging with them, and helping with a friendly smile.
At BeenVerified, we take our customer service very seriously. We don’t outsource it overseas and measure our team’s effectiveness regularly. In fact, Carla, our Director of Customer Care, responds to customer emails and reviews them personally for follow-ups. It’s important to us that everyone feels part of the team, which is part of the reason we take time out together as a team to serve the community. We believe this sort of ethos has helped set our firm apart in the public data space for excellent service that our customers know they can rely upon.
