Why Does BeenVerified Offer a Free Trial?

While big businesses have accessed public records for years, many of BeenVerified's users are new to this kind of information. The free trial gives everyday people a chance to see what public records are and learn about how they work. This opportunity gives users a chance to decide if unlimited access to public records is something they wish to pay for. Alternatively, if you choose, you can also purchase a report on a one-off basis with no subscription membership.


Why Do I Need a Credit Card if You Are Offering a Free Trial?

You must be OVER 18 years of age to establish an account and valid credit card information is required to create your BeenVerified account. Rest assured your credit card will NOT be charged during the free trial period. To verify a card is legitimate, we sometimes ask the credit card company for a $2 authorization. Authorizations are immediately voided and canceled upon signup.

What Comes with My Free Trial?

For a limited time we are offering all new trial customers the ability to run unlimited, full access to all searches we offer. That means unlimited people searches, reverse phone searches, criminal records, property reports, email searches and more! Try them out for yourself to see how easy it is to search.


When Does My Free Trial End, and When Will I Start Being Charged?

Your free trial ends at midnight Eastern Time on the seventh day after you register. If you choose to cancel before the trial ends you won’t be charged. If you don’t cancel before then, you will be billed for the length of membership that you selected when creating your BeenVerified Account. BeenVerified prides itself on making the cancellation process as easy as possible. To cancel, simply call 1-888-579-5910 and just let our friendly support team know that you wish to cancel your trial. We’re available anytime from 8AM to 9PM EST (Mon.- Fri.) and 12PM – 8PM EST (Weekends).


Do I Have to Sign Up Again for BeenVerified When My Subscription Is Up?

You don’t have to sign up again; your membership will be automatically renewed to the same term until you cancel. If you cancel, you’ll enjoy unlimited reports until the end of your then-current subscription term; your subscription will not be renewed after that term expires.


What Is Your Refund Policy?

We allow customers a 7 day grace period after being billed to receive a refund if they do not wish to continue their BeenVerified membership. Please note this grace period only applies to customers that have not used the service during those 7 days.


What Is This $2.00 Authorization on My Card?

It’s actually not a charge and we have not taken that $2 out of your account. The $2 is a request that we make to the bank to see if the credit card is valid and in good standing. Immediately upon sign up we void that transaction and tell the credit card company to release the hold. Once we void the $2, it may take a day or two for you to have access to it again.


How Do I View My Purchased Reports?

BeenVerified makes it easy to view previously purchased reports regardless of your membership status. Simply log into your account and click “My Reports” on the top menu.


What Payment Methods does BeenVerified Accept?

BeenVerified accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express Cards


How will a BeenVerified Charge Appear on my Credit Card Bill?

Payment will appear on your bank statement as BVI*BEENVERIFIED.COM/X


Am I Still Charged if the Person I Search Does Not Have a Criminal Record?

Yes, you are charged for your report regardless of whether your search subject has a criminal record or not. We charge for searching public records to confirm this for you.
